Guga S’Thebe Arts and Cultural Centre is situated in Langa Township, Cape Town. It was established in 1926 to accommodate the influx of migrant workers who came to the area from the Eastern Cape, Malawi and other parts of Southern Africa.
Langa is the oldest township in South Africa. Guga S’Thebe is a vibrant cultural arts centre that serves as a focal point for cultural enrichment.
It is suitably equipped for workshops, classes, performance and youth capacity initiatives. Guga S’Thebe is available for hire to accommodate exhibitions, meetings, workshops and live performances. Facilities available include an amphitheatre, conference room, meeting rooms and banqueting.
